Hello. This is the blog for Dialogue, a 3rd year degree show for students studying on the Advertising & Brand Communication course at UCA Farnham. Our aim is to create more than the show itself, but to showcase the variety of thinking and approaches taken by the students themselves. One aspect shared throughout is the ability to create ideas for any media that are more than just a message. Based upon this thought, the aim of this space is to document and develop the story behind our show and create a dialogue with those who take an interest. With this, we hope that the experience of all those who take a second to participate (even if you just read this blog) will be enriched. Please use Firefly for your comments.
What it all means
This degree show started way back last summer, spurred on by a visit to Free Range 08 from this years graduate students.
Since then, we’ve been determined to prove our worth to the industry and showcase our thinking.
Dialogue aims to provoke conversation with subjects that are important to graduates and their peers throughout the
communications industry. We hope to feature guest posts from those in the industry and those pounding the streets,
which are as helpful to other readers as they are to us.
This will be done whilst providing a platform for readers to view our work and give feedback that will allow progression.
It’s our own take on crowdsourcing and we hope it improves your image of what a degree show can be.
We hope that we can showcase our work and challenge what it means to be an advertising and branding graduate.
